How to build a good printing house?
We need a team of people who like their job, experts who have modern machinery at their disposal.
Nowadays the base of Dimograf Printing House consists of four offset printing machines in B1 (70 x 100 cm) format: five-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102-5 with Preset Plus (Drupa 2004 model), two four-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster 102 VP machines with page turning over option after two colours print and one two-colour Heidelberg SM 102 ZP. Moreover, we have at our disposal Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 74-5-C - a five-colour machine in B2 format, bought in the year 2006. The Dimograf's bindery makes adhesive binding, sewn binding, hard case binding, note book bindings as well as book and calendar spiral bindings. Bindery equipment consist of modern and cost efficient Wohlenberg Champion S with PUR and Hot Melt Technology line for adhesive binding ( 16 automatic feeding stations ) with the possibility to produce books with flaps, Kolbus line for hard case and complex binding, Müller Martini Valore line for saddle-stitched binding ( 6 automatic feeding stations + cover station), seven Heidelberg and GUK folding machines in B1 and B2 formats, 2 thread sewing machines: ASTRONIC 180C and Aster Headop ,Wire-O machines and machines for spiral binding, three-side trimmer, machines for insert sheets perforation, Theisen & Bonitz machine for completing calendars, Victoria die cutting press, 3 Perfecta guillotines and one Polar guillotine, Weldan line for production plastic covers and many auxiliary equipment. Plates are prepared in CTP system on Kodak Magnus s Quantum image setter. In Dimograf Printing House youth meets experience. Such combination allows for free and unlimited use of modern technology combined with ability to solve untypical tasks creatively. What conditioned the existence of the company in the beginning of its activities, when in pursue of quality inventiveness helped to defeat equipment imperfection, today has become an advantage over competitors allowing for using the possibilities created by modern machines.
