PUR TECHNOLOGY
Advantages of polyurethane adhesives (PUR):
- high strength
- resistance to low and high temperatures (-40°C +90°C)and UV, resistance to embrittlement, no separation of covers and backs
- resistance to printing dyes containing mineral oils, e.g. offset dyes
- application of various papers, including papers that are difficult to bond when applying different adhesives or whole-surface printing
- a thin (0.3 mm) and very flexible adhesive layer allows reading the book or magazine in a flat open position
- polyurethane adhesives do not tend to penetrate into the bound pages so the pages do not stick to each other
