Uniplex – fast line for sewn productions

Uniplex is a very fast line ideally suited for sewn products. The line consists of an MX4 gathering module and an asterPRO sewing machine. UNIPLEX in combination with asterPRO allows sewn books to be produced in a very effective way thanks to a mechanical speed of up to 12,000 cycles per hour.

This solution reduces production costs by eliminating indirect handling and nonproductive processes, such as storage and transport of gathered semi-finished products. Integral configuration and compact design enable the Uniplex to be operated by just one person. The line is equipped with a Dual GigaLynx camera system for bar code or image scanning, which provides additional control over the quality of the gathering and sewing processes.

We have two such lines with 12 and 20 gathering stations (the latest 20 station line is additionally equipped with an automatic press for the spine of the stack to ensure a higher quality of sewn stack production with a larger volume of pages).
